Yoga pose VI step III ... Is this too much gravitas? Câline de blues!

Still preoccupied with textures, I went at it with a vengeance using a performance enhancer (no booze, just blues!), trying to break away from my usual conservatism, especially with the background...

The challenge is now to unify this composition... without unifying it! Sort of like a multicolored monochromatic painting... I need a drink!

Amber, I need to train my mind to accept this... but it's definitely the kind of watercolor freshness that I need to go after. The final version is interesting but more conventional in a way (still afraid to stop early). This version depicts the direct influence of music on my brushstrokes "sans aucun repentir"... this is the recipe for success (brushstrokes with no regrets or second guessing)... something you apply in most of your paintings it seems... something I applied in my watercolors but at the price of scrapping up to 75% of my works!

Amber, and I might add, up to this phase, in a way, everything was the truth... after I kept adding lies!

Amber, funny thing, now that I think of it, I would have probably accepted this third step as a final painting if somebody else had done it! So it shows that a lot of this is in the mind!
