I've made some timid attempts at the turquoise... I seem to have hangups when attempting to use colors that are too remote from "more acceptable" skin colors. I'm dreaming about painting a face in loose style with the most outrageous colors... but without loosing pure realism... at 30 feet!I still have some of that gooey encaustic gel left... may as well pour some over this painting while I'm cogitating on how I'm gonna finish it!
