Textural effects on video - flock II

After starting a new series, there is always a period of mental readjustment before I'm able to hit "full stride". My intent is always to forge ahead with some innovative approach (for me!). However, this is easier said than done, and the first few paintings of a series usually threatens to drag some of my old ways into the future!

With one painting to finish and a portrait commission to start, I've decided to enjoy the moment before getting into the action of things. I've been using my new video software... perhaps as a means to more fully integrate some of the things that I've learned so far... in this case, in the domain of textural effects...
